As everyone knows, religion is all over. Religion is everywhere, and its causing damage like cancer.

There are more than 750 religions in the world and all of them at some point had a purpose. And more often than not that purpose was a good one. It was something to believe in. it was something to guide them to what was believed to be a better place.
However, the sate of religion has taken a steep down turn since its beginning. As of now there is still a large chunk of people that use religion as a guide into the lighter side of life. There are some people on the other side of religion. The side of religion that causes wars and violence, the side of religion that makes everyone hate everyone else's religion, and the side of religion that creeps its way into the back of our minds and turns us against each other in fits of rage and prejudice.
I do not claim any religion. In fact I honestly believe it has out lived its usefulness and have never been convinced of any higher power. I was the kid in the church that got kicked out by asking why. If religion and churches cannot describe why something happened to me without saying that the person or group of people just had faith then I don't see the evidence that it ever happened.
Last time I was told that the evidence of what Jesus and Moses as well as God and all the angels did is all around us, I cant help but to think there must be about 50 thousand different scenarios that all end up with the result that we see in front of us every day.
Religion has now become what should be considered a drug, or a noxious weed of the mind. It spreads so fast and so suddenly that it wraps people up into believing a story that can't be proven. Next thing you know you're fallowing a man like Charles Manson and killing because he says its gods will to start a race war.
I am thoroughly unconvinced. This might just be the biggest scam in all of human history. On the other hand I might just be going to hell. Well just like any great adventure it's not the destination it's the journey.

Yours truly,
Captain Wub Wub

To be disgusted by religion and the effects it has on society as well as individuals is one thing. To compare religion to a flatulent explosion in a confined space is something else. I think that most people would agree that passing gas is not pleasant. However, the topic of the effects of religion either for the good or bad is not one to be compared to flatulence. I firmly believe you specifically picked "Troll" as a user name so it made sense when you violated peoples stories with random nonsensical comments that only achieve one goal, making you a towel. Tell me when you can achieve a higher train thought. Hopefully it will be a thought that does not involve gas or the accusation that one does not have friends.

I'm having a difficult time deciding how I want to answer the poll. You should have added an "all of the above" option. I feel it can help (it might be a crutch, but so the fuck what) it can destroy (ask any gay kid who was told God didn't love him) and it can corrupt (google Rick Santorum). I can't say it saves, since the concept of God is neither fact nor fiction (can't be proven either way). As for leadership qualities, all I think of is the witch burnings in Europe. So maybe not "all of the above", but "most of the above".

Not the most vitriolic but well written, especially your answer to troll.
