To the idiots that run the global express shipping at DHL: Please hurry up and take the ridiculous amounts of money that I paid for your sub-par services that have left me more than a little displeased and shove it up your bright yellow collective asses.
 
So, a few weeks ago, I bought a few things online. I did the unamerican thing and bought from China, as it is more affordable that way, high shipping rates included. In total, I spent a hundred American that I don't really have on a bunch of things that I deemed necessary.

Now here's the funny part. Because it hails all the way from China, shipping takes a long time. I had the option of spending $5 on shipping and waiting a few weeks for it to get here, or spending a shit ton more for it to get here in what I was told would be 5 - 10 days.

Normally, my inner jew would press for the cheaper shipping, but I'm moving out at the end of this month. So I opted for express shipping. There would even be an extra week left before I moved, and there's nothing like a week long cush when you're expecting an expensive and important package.

That was two weeks ago. Yeah, fuck five to ten days. TWO. FUCKING. WEEKS. I'm moving in less than a week from today. Guess where my package is after two fucking weeks of shipping. Did you guess still in fucking China?

We have a fucking winner!! Turns out that DHL recycles waybill numbers (a tracking number for those of you smart enough to have never messed with DHL before) and as a result, everything got messed up and shipped all over fucking Asia.

It started out in Shanghai, where it originated from. Then it went to Shenzhen, China. It was here it took them two days for customs to even clear it. After two days of wondering whether or not e-liquid for an electronic cigarette could be deemed unsafe for shipping, it was cleared. Then they shipped off to Taipei, Taiwan. No one can explain to me why it even went there. No one really knows. After spending a few days in Taiwan, it was shipped to Hong Kong. From there it was suppposed to be shipped to the US. Instead, they shipped it BACK TO FUCKING SHENZHEN.

I've called their shoddy customer service multiple times now, did the live chat thing more times than I care to remember. There really isn't much they can tell me, except that they are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused me.

I'm so upset, I almost want to tell them to fucking keep the damn shit and give me my money back, especially the cost for shipping. I fucking hate DHL. I hate the bastards more than I have ever hated a complete stranger before.

So if you hear about a huge DHL facility that has the word "Incompetence" painted all over the walls, I never posted this. Smug bastards.
